Secure and Fast Image Encryption Algorithm Using Hyper-Chaos-Based Key Generator and Vector Operation

To protect image data privacy, a secure and fast encryption algorithm using hyper-chaos based key generator vector operation is proposed. Firstly, we introduce novel post-process method to create matrix for significantly reducing the iterations of hyperchaotic system from W×H/4 2W an size W×H. And within post-process, random selector driven by piecewise linear chaotic map ensures good randomness unpredictability generated matrix. Secondly, employed accelerate cipher block chaining diffusion process, so plain can be parallel encrypted row column with high efficiency. Thirdly, utilize Logistic quickly produce initial vectorized process. Finally, proposed evaluated some common security performance tests. Experimental results show that pass all tests NIST SP 800-22 P-values>>0.01, its correlation coefficient between pixels close 0, entropy greater than 7.999. Combined other tests, safely conclude provides adequate protection against statistical, brute-force, chosen-plaintext, types attacks. In addition, time complexity in order O(W+H) average 512×512 images only 0.023s. The indicate our speed meet requirements real-time confidential transmission massive data.
